Froggus (2019)

Adapted from an Australian Geographic illustration of the Red-eyed tree frog, Agalychnis callidryas.

This was drawn as my hair started to fall out from my chemotherapy regime in 2019, which was successful against the testicular cancer I was unfortunate enough to be diagnosed with.

I loved the stoic pose that the original depiction showed of the Red-eyed tree frog and decided to draw him. His almost vascular arm/leg in the bottom right is perhaps indicative of this strength.

Art and drawing also gave me the strength, motivation and peace of mind needed to get through a tough chemo regime.
